Business in the Streets (BITS) is a Toronto not-for-profit organization providing youth facing barriers access to top-tier business training, peer mentorship, micro-financing, and ongoing business supports. BITS was created to help young people from disadvantaged, marginalized and underserved communities access quality entrepreneurial programs, mentorship and networking opportunities. Our programs and events are specially designed for young people who are ready to embark on an entrepreneurial journey and are interested in pursuing their own economic opportunities.
Our vision is a Toronto where every young aspiring entrepreneur can access the knowledge and tools needed to achieve their economic potential.
With an increasing ageing population, youth will become the driving force of the Canadian economy in the next ten years. However, many young people are unable to afford quality, hands-on business training in order to thrive in today’s rapidly changing business environment. BITS works directly with youth to support them in creating and sustaining economic opportunities that work for them.
