A Message About Coronavirus

In response to the rapidly changing situation surrounding the Coronavirus (Covid-19), we are currently taking all precautions necessary and have suspended any in-person meetings and activities at our location at 688 Richmond St West, Toronto until further notice (for information related to UforChange please visit their website and Instagram for program-related information).

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our community and their families, therefore we will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds and make decisions in their best interest.

All updates regarding how current programs are affected can be found below. For questions involving these changes please contact our Programs Lead, Zhanina Bregu at

We look forward to being back in our space and serving you in person soon! Until then, please stay safe and continue to #makeithappen.

YCEO and Boot Camp Winter Programs

Pitch Day, March 14th, 2020 at Project Spaces – Rescheduled

The core function of our pitch events is two-fold;

1) to create a platform for our entrepreneurs to present in order to receive thoughtful critique and feedback, and

2) to honour the hard work and dedication invested over 8 weeks and celebrate together

With that being said, we have decided to reschedule our Pitch Day for Saturday, March 28th, 2020 and we will be delivering this virtually from 12pm – 3pm. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact our Programs lead, Zhanina Bregu at

zhanina@businessinthestreets.com.

MPx Pilot Project

Temporarily moving online

MPx will temporarily shift formats from in-person to online in order to support the practice of self-isolation and mitigate the need for public transit. Instructions on how to access this new format will be provided by BITS staff and facilitators in the coming days.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact our Programs lead, Zhanina Bregu at

zhanina@businessinthestreets.com.

YCEO and Boot Camp Spring Programs

We are currently accepting applications to participate and mentor in our first virtual YCEO and Boot Camp programs. Due to the situation with regards to COVID-19, we have been monitoring it week-by-week and have adjusted our delivery to be virtual.

As of now, applications are set to close on Friday, April 17th with the first day of virtual programs starting Saturday, May 2nd.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact info@businessinthestreets.com.

Monetize Your Art

Postponed until further notice.

Thursday, March 12 and 19 classes cancelled, we are currently looking to relaunch Monetize Your Art as early as May 2020 (although all timelines are currently subject to change). Participants who have already been accepted will receive early invitations to rejoin once dates are confirmed. This applies to mentor and facilitator positions as well.

BITS Bucks Micro-financing Program

Deadline extended for business plan submissions

With many of our entrepreneur alumni required to dedicate additional time to mitigation activities, we have extended the deadline for BITS Bucks submissions to April 19. We hope this extension will reduce the need to focus on business plan writing and allow for more time to be spent on the most high-priority activities.

Questions related to BITS Bucks can be directed to our BITS Bucks program lead, Vlad Kvon, at

bucks@businessinthestreets.com.
